Membership

Joining Wakefield Angling Club is a simple procedure. Follow the step-by-step process below and become a member. Once membership is completed, you have angling access to our club waters. Please remember, that as proof of membership you will need to keep your book with you at all times while fishing  any of our venues.

  • Barrier Key (WA-08) includes Gents’ toilet access at Flanshaw Dam. 
  • Ladies’ Toilet key can be applied for by contacting the Secretary.

Under-12’s will not receive a barrier key. Parents will have to apply to the Secretary/Treasurer in writing to obtain a key, stating the under-12’s date of birth, membership book number and where the book was purchased. 

Replacement Barrier Keys can be purchased from any of the locations below at a cost of £6.00 on production of your membership book.

  • Visit any of the below angling centres and ask for a Wakefield Angling Club Book.
  • Fill out your details in the front of the book (for our records only).
  • Pay for the book and sign on the first page.
  • You are now a member of the Wakefield Angling Club.

  • Don’t forget to purchase a barrier key for access to our secure car-parks and venue locations, these are Flanshaw dam and Walker’s dam.

Please note that all membership is based on your age from the 1 January.
